I’ve been told “Time waits for no one” isn’t that so true. 2009 just came and went. I’m hoping that everyone is well and handling the many changes in our lives. As we all know time marches on and we should try to make the best of each day. Family is important and friends are too.

The committee met several times and discussed whether to celebrate our 35th reunion or hold off. Well, we decided to move forward and celebrate. Life is so precious. Let’s set aside one day and enjoy each others company. Enjoy the laughter, reminiscing the old times, meeting a new classmate you never knew… Best yet, if you haven’t join us in our past reunions…let this event be your first.

With the rough economic times, some of us had to tighten our belts. With that in mind, we looked into many venues considering cost, good food, and parking and having it here on Oahu. Hale Koa had the best price and met the other criteria.

Our theme will be “Paniolo Style”. Celebration will be on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Yep, 9/11…Let’s not forget about 9/11 but we can remember our time together. We’re having a t-shirt contest, with the winners design printed on a tank top and pre-sold for $10 ea. The winner will receive the reunion entry fee and a tank top. I know we have some talented governors out there. Show us what you’ve got! Dinner, door prizes, and music will be provided for $45 pp.

The Oahu Bash was held on January 27, 2007 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. Everyone had a fun time, catching up with our classmates. Some didn't want to leave. We had a lot of positive feedback. Too bad all good things must come to an end.
